Prompt: An editorial close-up portrait under cool blue studio light, a quiet expression, natural skin texture, subtle lavender shadows and a clean cinematic composition.

YOUR IDEA. YOUR DIRECTION.

Unrestricted AI Photo Editor for a New Visual Direction

Rework a source photograph with a written instruction instead of starting over. Change a room's mood, restyle a product scene or explore a different background while telling the model which subjects and shapes to keep. This workflow centers on the reference image and the whole-photo brief.

Write What to Keep Before What to Replace

Start with a preservation instruction such as keep the face, pose and camera angle. Follow it with a concrete change: replace the wall with warm plaster, soften the afternoon light or change the jacket to blue linen. Choose an instruction-edit model such as a compatible Qwen, Seedream or FLUX option in the studio.

Background, Materials and Lighting in One Brief

A reference edit can revise several related elements without a hand-painted boundary. For a product photo, keep the object geometry and label while describing a new surface and light direction. For an interior, keep the room layout and request a material palette. Exact identity, text and geometry preservation are not guaranteed; compare the downloaded result with your original.

Choose Between a Reference Edit and a Local Repaint

Use an instruction edit for a broad style or scene change. If the change must stay around a small object or edge, use the linked mask-editing workflow and a compatible model instead. You can return to the original upload and prepare another instruction; a new AI submission has its own image-unit cost.

Creative Freedom for Photographs You Have Permission to Edit

Unrestricted and uncensored describe an interest in broader artistic expression, not permission to edit anyone's image without consent. Use photos you are authorized to process. Model rules, Tintmill's Acceptable Use policy and legal requirements still apply, including the ban on non-consensual intimate edits.

Questions About Reference Photo Edits

01Do I need a brush selection for a whole-photo instruction?+

No. Instruction-edit models use a reference image and written changes. A painted mask is useful for a narrower replacement, but it is a different input workflow and needs a compatible route.

02How can I keep a product shape or a person's face?+

State the details to preserve before the change and avoid contradictory instructions. Keep the original for comparison. Reference editing can still alter faces, lettering or geometry, so preservation is a direction rather than a guarantee.

03Can I process a folder of photos automatically?+

There is no folder or automated batch-photo editing workflow. Upload and review one source image at a time. Output count controls the number of requested alternatives, not a batch of different source photos.

04Will an edited photograph become public?+

Uploaded references, saved jobs and generated files belong to your private account workspace. They are not automatically added to the public editorial inspiration gallery.
