The studio brings together image generation, mask-based photo editing, image resizing and text or image-to-video workflows. Enabled AI generation uses SpicyAPI. Standalone audio generation is on the roadmap; some video models include synchronized sound.
02What does creative freedom mean on Tintmill?+
Tintmill is a general-purpose studio for art, illustration and visual storytelling. Explore fantasy, horror, dark art and unconventional ideas with a choice of models and controls. Unfiltered describes that creative direction, not a promise that every prompt will be accepted. Model restrictions vary, and rights, consent and our Acceptable Use policy still apply. Your creations stay private by default.
03Is there a free generation allowance?+
No. Tintmill’s proposed plans are subscription-based, without free signup credits or a free trial. You can explore the interface and use local image resizing and video frame tools without an AI generation service.
04How do image and video units work?+
Images use image units; video uses credits. The balances are separate, so a video task never silently consumes your image allowance. Cost is shown before submission.
05Can I edit only part of an image?+
Yes. Upload a photo, paint a mask, then describe the change. Brush, eraser, undo/redo, mask inversion and PNG mask export are available in the editor. AI repaint requires a configured inference provider.
06Are these gallery images generated by Tintmill?+
The preview gallery contains illustrative stock photography and original editorial prompts. It is inspiration, not a claim about a generated model output.
